National Stationery Week

National Stationery Week

April 27th – May 3rd is National Stationery Week.

Stationery addicts across the nation are circling the dates in anticipation of this huge and exciting event.

During these 7 days brands, stationery stores both large and small and stationery lovers from all walks of life will join forces, working together to come up with exciting and creative new ways to encourage as many people as possible to pick up a pen and paper and get writing. It’s all about helping people all over Britain strengthen their relationship with stationery.

With a passion for all things office, the team at Euroffice can’t wait to get involved.

Engaging with customers on a more personal level through social media, one stationery enthusiast to another, is an important part of Euroffice life. There will be some social giveaways to look forward to,so keep your eyes peeled.

All over the UK there are children facing challenging times, preventing them from attending school, affecting their concentration and ability to learn. This could be anything from caring responsibilities, witnessing domestic violence, homelessness, bullying or poverty and the list doesn’t end there.

Donations

School Home Support do a fantastic job in supporting these families, giving them the emotional support and practical help and advice they need, enabling the child to stay in education, continue learning and look forward to a brighter and happier future. Euroffice will be donating a box of stationery to School Home Support to show support for the invaluable service they provide.

Great Ormond Street has over 240,000 patient visits each year. Anyone with a child needing hospital treatment will tell you it is one of the most difficult times they have ever faced as a parent. The dedicated staff at this amazing hospital do their upmost to ensure the stay is made as comfortable as possible for both the parents and the children, whose humbling bravery is an inspiration to us all. Learning doesn’t need to stop during a hospital stay.

Children have access to the hospital school, which promises to be fun and for those unable to leave the ward, a teacher will visit their bedside for up to an hour a day, ensuring no one misses out. Euroffice will be donating boxes filled with stationery for the staff at Great Ormond Street as well as numerous boxes of child friendly stationery  for the enjoyment of all the children staying at the hospital.

#SharpieShout

Euroffice will also be launching the #SharpieShout campaign. It is important for all children to feel like they are being listened to. The #SharpieShout campaign aims to encourage children to use a sharpie to write down their thoughts, feelings or wishes on a T-shirt. It is designed to be a fun activity for children and a creative way for them to show their parents and carers what is important to them at that moment in time, opening the doors to discussion and the chance to make changes if necessary.

And finally, Euroffice has created a special page on their website filled with fun articles, things to do and a few great special offers so everyone can get involved and grab some great deals for National Stationery Week. Keep an eye on this page in the upcoming weeks for more information and how you can get involved.

It is going to be a fun week and absolutely everyone is invited to join in the fun and #GetWriting.
