Now the nights have drawn in and the heating’s been turned up, it’s time for us all to have a Merry Christmas.
What does Christmas mean to you? The joy of having family and friends come over for food and drinks, or the trials of turkey basting at 5am and wrestling mountains of sprouts?
We sincerely hope it’s the former. Christmas is a chance for everyone to take time to reflect, to enjoy the crispness of a cold morning and to snuggle up on the sofa under a blanket with the ones you love, thinking about the year coming to a close and sipping some mulled wine.
What with all that organising and present-buying we think you certainly deserve a rest. But we also think you deserve our thanks. You’ve given us a vote of confidence by shopping with us and we hope to repay that trust with our very best efforts.
So without any more ado, we’ll sign-off and say Happy Christmas and hope we can continue to meet up with you. Thank you.
PS. Here’s some perfect ‘snoozing on the sofa after lunch’ music. This is what we’ll be listening to on Christmas day – the gentle lute perhaps accompanied by gentle snoring.
