The 99% recycled office
I was looking for information on recycled boardroom desks when I came across a recycled office.
Belonging to ‘upcycling and recycling’ company TerraCycle, its office uses plastic bottles as wall dividers, has boardroom tables made out of doors (complete with working bells, in case someone isn’t paying attention) and meeting room tables made out of lanes from a bowling alley. Even the boss’ conference table is a chunk of wood resting on two barrels.
There’s so much recycling going on, that looking at pictures of the place becomes a guessing game about what was bought new and what was found in a skip. It’s a great example of saving money and having an office that perfectly represents the company brand.
