It’s not only computers that store sensitive information

We’ve written before about data security in the office; that safeguarding customer and commercial information is as important as locking up at night.     Data security and privacy are things that all companies should take very seriously.

That’s why people should remember that, like a computer, their printer may have a hard disk. And, just like a computer, it might be storing confidential files.    Xerox has a useful video going into aspects of printer security; perhaps the most important thing to take from it, is that if you really want your data to be secure you have to destroy it.
