Create your own DIY Chalkboard Present Labels
As Christmas is less than a month away, you’ve no doubt started planning and buying your gifts for friends and family.
At Euroffice, we believe that the packaging of the present is just as special as what is inside.
With this in mind, we have teamed up with Uni-ball to bring you a fun, cool and re-usable Christmas craft – DIY chalkboard labels.
Here’s what you need to do:
- Purchase a packet of chalkboard labels
- White chalk
- A uniball chalkboard marker
- A napkin
- Scissors
- Double sided tape
Getting started:
Firstly, un-wrap your labels and gently rub the chalk over the label.
Once you have done this and the label has a chalky-white overlay, grab your napkin and gently rub the chalk off.
Taking your chalk pen, begin to draw (if you wish) patterned corners or outline the border for an added decorative touch.
Now that you have done this, you can then handwrite your sentiment such as ‘Merry Christmas’, or add a personalised touch by writing the person’s name.
Now that your label is complete, you can either add double sided sticky tape and stick directly onto the gift or hole punch and loop through a piece of thin ribbon string.
